Area Closed - The End
Well this probably marks the end of this blog. They've closed the area. When I arrived in the Villa Maria parking lot today I was surrounded by these signs blocking off every trail out of the parking lot.
I emailed the Parks Department to find out why and got this reply:
Thanks for your email. The trails you're accustomed to hiking are not official park trails and are not maintained as such. They also lead visitors onto private property. For these reasons, they've been closed.
I hope this information is helpful though it's probably not what you were hoping to hear. T****
