After much sleuthing and polite enquiries I have managed to gain legal access!
It looks a lot different after the heat of summer. Everything is dried up, lifeless and quiet. But it's good to be back.

I recently discovered a gravel pit that has been abandoned for the last 50 years. Few people know it exists, and fewer people ever go there. The gate was open, so I went in. These are my jottings as I discover things about the Gravel Pit.
